"The Flumps" is a British children's programme, created and written by Julie Holder and narrated by Gay Soper, and produced for the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) by David Yates. The show was broadcast by the BBC from 1977 to 1988.

The plot revolved around the various adventures of a family of furry characters called The Flumps. The theme tune was played by George Chisholm on the trombone.

There were six Flumps: Mum baked cakes and made dinners, Dad did gardening and mending and Granddad played his flumpahone (a type of trumpet) in between naps. The stories concentrated, though, on three energetic and curious younger flumps, Perkin (a boy Flump), Posy (a girl) and the youngest son, Pootle.
