Which catchphrase is associated with the traditional British puppet show, Punch And Judy?
Punch and Judy is a traditional puppet show featuring Mr. Punch and his wife Judy. The show is performed by a single puppeteer inside a booth, known since Victorian times as a "professor" or "punchman" and has roots dating back to the 16th Century. The show has become a part of British Culture, not too dissimilar to a pantomime, and is often performed now for families at the seaside or fêtes.
The catchphrase "That's the way to do it!" is traditionally spoken by Punch as he repeatedly whacks the other puppet character on stage with a large stick. Punch speaks in a distinctive squawking voice, produced by a mouth instrument known as a swazzle which gives Punch a vocal quality as though he were speaking through a kazoo.
"Just like that" is the catchphrase of the late comedian/magician Tommy Cooper.
"Not the momma!" Became a catchphrase in Jim Henson's 90s TV show, "Dinosaurs".
Finally, "Izzy wizzy let's get busy" would be spoken on the British puppet show, "Sooty" before performing a magic trick.
