Which cells play a role in skin pigmentation?
Melanocytes are dendritic, pigment-producing cells located in the basal cell layer. They protect the skin from ultraviolet radiation.
They are highly differentiated cells that produce pigment melanin inside melanosomes. This cell is dark and dendritic in shape. Melanin production is the basic function of melanocytes.
When ultraviolet rays penetrate the skin and damage DNA, thymidine dinucleotide fragments from damaged DNA will trigger melanogenesis and cause the melanocyte to produce melanosomes, which are then transferred by dendrites to the top layer of keratinocytes.

If you mean "cruel" as defined as having standards and complaining when a submission is so insultingly simple as to be condescending, then yes, this crowd is "cruel".
By the way, Carol, Lilly, Ciara, and dozens of others are not Quizzclub members. They are pseudonyms used by Quizzclub. You can easily tell because they "submit" questions, but don't play. They generally have no country of origin or an actual photograph of themselves, AND their questions are so very simple that a child can answer them or the options they present are so absurd that there is generally only one answer possible!
I'm surprised that a regular player like you seems unaware of all this!
