Which cocktail consists of vodka and orange juice?
A screwdriver is a popular alcoholic highball drink made with orange juice and vodka. While the basic drink is simply the two ingredients, there are many variations. This drink appeared in literature as early as 1938.
Decades ago, American oil workers in the Persian Gulf discreetly added vodka to their orange juice while on the job. Lacking a spoon, the workers decided to stir the drink with a screwdriver. This is how the screwdriver got its name.

My drink of choice from my late teens to my early twenties. I used to mix it in an empty 48 oz prune juice bottle using 1 quart of orange juice and topping it off with vodka. I would take it to parties. Nobody ever bothered it 🤣
