The flag shown is that belonging to the nation of Greenland.

Greenland is an autonomous territory within the Danish realm, granted home rule in 1978. In 1989, it adopted this flag designed by native Greenlander Thue Christiansen. In native Greenlandic language, the flag is called Erfalasorput, which means 'our flag'. It is often displayed alongside the flag of Denmark, or Dannebrog.

Located between the Arctic and Atlantic oceans, Greenland is considered the world's largest island. However, with a population of 56,081 in the 2020 census, it is also the least densely populated region in the world. It's capital is Nuuk, which contains around one third of the overall population. Roughly three quarters of Greenland is covered by a permanent ice sheet.
