Which farm animal is an omnivore?

The pig (Sus domesticus), often called swine, hog, or domestic pig when distinguishing from other members of the genus Sus, is an omnivorous, domesticated, even-toed, hoofed mammal.

The pig's head-plus-body length ranges from 0.9 to 1.8 m (3 to 6 ft), and adult pigs typically weigh between 50 and 350 kg (110 and 770 lb), with well-fed individuals even exceeding this range. The size and weight of hogs largely depends on their breed. Compared to other artiodactyls, a pig's head is relatively long and pointed. Most even-toed ungulates are herbivorous, but pigs are omnivores, like their wild relative. Pigs grunt and make snorting sounds.

Our previous neighbors had a pig, we helped with his foot one time, and they let us feed him scraps. His owner loved that pig and refused to eat it.

Deborah Koreneff, horses are herbivorous. It's unusual for them to eat anything else aside from grass, grains, fruit and some veg. Their digestive system just isn't designed for consuming meat of any sort. Of course, when they hang around people and see them eating a burger (with a bun around it - wheat of course), that's somewhat different. As for the footage of the horse eating a chick - did you notice how completely bare of anything resembling grain or hay was in the stall? A cow in India was seen to eat a chick too. Most animal experts believe this happens only when there is a significant deficiency of calcium or protein in the usually plant eating animals. A horse with an option will always eat what its digestion is meant to - plant matter.

I've seen horses eat meat quite happily, reaching over someone's shoulder to take a big bite out of the burger they were eating. There is also a video out showing a horse deliberately picking up and eating a chick.
