The 1998 U.S. black comedy film that is about two guys who travel to Las Vegas, NV is titled "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". Raoul Duke (Johnny Depp) and Dr. Gonzo (Benicio Del Toro) are a journalist (sportswriter) and psychopathic lawyer respectively. In this movie, it chronicles the hallucinogenic misadventures of the guys on their three-day romp from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. They travel across the Mojave Desert in a red convertible to get to Sin City (Las Vegas, NV) to provide press coverage regarding a motorcycle race.
They are individuals who are best described as the hazy travelers who love to ingest a cornucopia of drugs.

I only knew that Harry and Tonto was a movie, not the others. Went to Vegas with my wife three times, one time to a week-long dance camp. Definitely nothing to do with drugs. The majority came through for me once again.
