Which former president did Ronald Reagan campaign for during the State of California's governor race?

Interestingly enough, Reagan began his political career as a democrat and joined lift-wing oriented political committees. However, in the early 1950s, he shifted to the right and even endorsed the presidential candidacy of Richard Nixon in 1960. He also supported Richard Nixon during the governor's race in 1962. Nixon lost the race to democrat Pat Brown.

When Reagan campaigned for Nixon in 1962, Nixon was the former vice-president. He didn't get elected president until 1968.
