Which instrument should one use to make Turkish coffee?
A cezve is a small long-handled pot with a pouring lip designed specifically to make Turkish coffee. It is traditionally made of brass or copper, occasionally also silver or gold. In more recent times cezveler are also made from stainless steel, aluminium, or ceramics.
The name cezve is of Turkish origin, where it is a borrowing from Arabic: جذوة (jadhwa).
This method of coffee brewing has been around for centuries during which it spread all around the world. In every culture, it carries its specific rituals and traditions, such as brewing it with an addition of spices or serving it with sugar and some sweets.

I drank out of a cezve when I was a child in Egypt back in 1950. We had a manservant named Mohammed who would let me have sips from it. I remember it fondly.
