Which is the world's largest passenger airliner?
The Airbus A380 is a two-storied, wide jet airliner wiyh four engines. It was made by the European aircraft company Airbus. It is the largest passenger airliner in the world. Some airports have upgraded all the service facilities for this airliner to operate. It was originally named Airbus A3XX and meant to edge out Boeing's monopoly in this extensive aircraft market. The first of the A380 was on 27 April 2005. Later, in October 2007, the A380 made an agreement about commercial servicing with Singapore Airlines.

Dennis Myers. You can't compare the Spruce Goose to the Airbus 380 as the Hughes aircraft was not a passenger aircraft. It was made out of Birch not Spruce.

The picture is not the real Airbus 380. The first Amercan airport to receive the 380 was Los Angeles International (LAX). The problem is, the plane is so big, and so tall, all the old passenger jet bridges were too low to receive this massive brute. Further, the weight of the plane has to be taken into account for the runways and whether they can handle the additional pounding, not to mention the length the runway needs to be fo landng/takeoff.
Dennis Myers: the Spruce Goose, though large, has a 747-esque fuselage. Any watercraft needs much more wing than an airplane designed for landing on the ground. Water creates significant drag.

The photo they showed isn't of an Airbus A380, so I almost plumped for another answer! It was only when I looked closely at the photo I realised it was of a fairly small plane, so I knew I could disregard it. I've been on an Airbus A380 and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner so knew what they looked like and their relative sizes.
