Which nation has the highest birthrate of twins in the world?
It's hard for the scientists to define the exact number of twins in the developing world. Anyway, the record for the highest twin birthrate is held by Benin, a small country in West Africa. 28 twins per 1000 births are born here! Such record is amazing with the global average of 13 twins per 1000 birth among all the studied countries.
By the way, the scientific study of twins is known as "gemellology".

The Yoruba have the highest rate of twinning in the world, at 45–50 twin sets (or 90–100 twins) per 1,000 live births, possibly because of high consumption of a specific type of yam containing a natural phytoestrogen which may stimulate the ovaries to release an egg from each side.

Belgasem Goma, an orthopaedic you are not, you don't even know how to spell the word, and twins don't come from a woman releasing an ovam from both ovaries, it is where an (ovam) egg will split completely apart. Eggs are released on one side at a time Mr. Orthopaedic.
