Which of the following substances is negligibly soluble in water?
The chemical formula of this chemical compound is AgCl. It is well known for its low solubility in water (because of its stable crystalline structure). Upon heating, this crystalline solid converts to silver and chlorine.
What are your thoughts on this subject?

Sodium Chloride - salt - ever heard of seawater? Ethanol - alcohol - ever drunk beer? Calcium chloride - used in most swimming pools. Silver chloride is thus the only one left.

I think this question is wrong. Ethane, which is composed, of carbon and hydrogen only has no polar group and is not water-soluble.
