December 1971), an American actor and musician known for his method acting in a good many roles, are all individuals who have been featured as the Joker in big screen movies. Respectively Nicholson played the Joker in "Batman" (1989), Hamill voiced acted the Joker in the 1993 theatrical film "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm" and the 2000 film "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker", and Leto was the Joker in "Suicide Squad" (2016), an American superhero film based on the DC Comics supervillain team Suicide Squad.
Sean Penn (b. August 1960) is an actor who hasn't been featured in any "Batman" film or related movie project as the Joker. Penn has had no correction to any film, any role, or any kind of interest in a "Batman" film whatsoever, featuring the Joker.
