Ed Sheeran had three of the top five best selling singles in the UK between 2010 and 2019.

Ed spent 14 weeks at Number 1 with "Shape Of You" in 2017. Since then it's amassed over 4.5m chart sales. It's one of three Ed tracks in the Top 5 end-of-decade list with "Thinking Out Loud" (2014) placed third and former Christmas Number 1, "Perfect" (2017) placed fifth.

Ed has racked up a massive 38 weeks at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart to date; he’s shifted an incredible 53.8m combined singles; and his tracks have been streamed an eye-watering 4.6 billion times in the UK alone.

Edward Christopher Sheeran (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. Born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, he was brought up in Framlingham, Suffolk where he began writing songs while in high school. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, "No. 5 Collaborations Project". He signed with Asylum Records the same year.

Sheeran has sold more than 150 million records worldwide, making him one of the world's best-selling music artists. He has 84.5 million RIAA-certified units in the US, and two of his albums are in the list of the best-selling albums in UK chart history. In December 2019, the Official Charts Company named him artist of the decade, with the most combined success in the UK album and singles charts in the 2010s.
