Which state has been the birthplace of the most U.S. presidents?
Do you know what George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, William Henry Harrison, John Tyler, Zachary Taylor and Woodrow Wilson have in common? All of these 8 presidents were born in Virginia and made their home state the most prolific producer of commanders in chief in the USA. Another 8 presidents also have deep roots in Ohio, but this list includes William Henry Harrison, who only moved to Ohio, already being an adult.
Thus, Virginia holds the position of the birthplace of the most U.S. presidents.
