Which tree grows from an acorn?
An oak is a deciduous tree which height is usually up to 50 meters. With the unusual curved shape of its stem and rich leafage, this tree is of great value for landscaping. Its bark is widely used for medical purposes while the oak hardwood is recognized as one of the most durable and beautiful materials for furniture carpentering and creating decorative accessories for an interior.
An oak might live for more than 200 years and this fact makes it one of the most long-living trees on the planet. Usually, oaks start cropping when they reach the age of 30 years!

The defeat of the Spanish Armada is sometimes referred to as the triumph of English Oak over Spanish Pine. The Royal Navy planted huge forests of oak trees and forced the trees to follow matrixes to form ships ribs. Later the Brits found out how to 'steam form' straight timbers into ribs. Hard to believe the design of ships would stay static so long you could grow the timbers to order. Caesar also intimidated the Druids by destroying their sacred oak groves.

Oak trees have the ability to make the soil around them in hospitable for acorns to self sow. That is why you never have a thick planting of oak trees. To propagate the acorns need to be carried elsewhere by birds etc. or roll down a hill.

Acorns- I'm not native Texan , I've been here 27 years . HAVE impressive , huge,Old oak tree's , did not know they didt get acorns till 30 years old . Hmmm😉🤔🌳
