Who are they?
Besides being a significant part of the British pop-culture, this TV series is also one of the most popular in the world.
It is the only science-fiction television programme to hold the world record for the highest number of episodes - BBC has already aired 35 seasons of the series (815 episodes!). No wonder it has a lot of fans as the series has been successfully produced by the company since the mid-twentieth century.

It is not the cast of Dr Who. It is all the actors that have played the part of Dr Who.

Actually, they are not the 'cast' of Dr. Who per se but the various reincarnations of Dr. Who. The cast changes and continues many more people.

Great question. I am not a Dr. Who fan but it is nice to see something NOT off US Network TV. You may actually educate some of the US citizens that there is a world outside their boundaries. I do think there are some errors in the explanation. The photo you used is from their 50th Anniversary and features 3 of the actors who played Doctor Who. 35 Seasons? "Doctor Who is a British science-fiction television programme produced by the BBC since 1963."

Get this right ! It isn't the "cast" of Dr Who, it is a pictoral representation of most of the actors who have portrayed Dr. WHO. With exception of the Lady dr who. Incarnations i believe is the correct term.

Technically, the actors portraying the Doctor *are* part of the cast of Doctor Who. Silly semantics. Great series (that record includes books, comics and audios by the way) and a long time personal favorite as you can see ...

Bill Coe, ALL of the men in this picture have played Doctor Who.There are 11 doctor who doctors in this pic, though as of 2019/2020+ there are 13 Doctors.
This pic is missing the last two actors to have played the Doctor.

I loved the series which I met wity Mr Capaldi starring. But then, the BBC closed its channel and the Europe Europe channels ignore it. Not even SyFy is airing it. Dolts!

c 7,000 people think these are the administrators of the World Health Organisation. In those clothes?
Are they all influenced by what Trump says about the WHO, leading them to believe that its employees all dress like eccentric visitors to planet Earth?

The picture is showing the cast or stars of the show, Dr. Who. The question is not a poor worded one.

I agree, John Dare. I happened upon Dr Who when David Tennant played the Doctor and loved him in the role. So funny and irreverent! Tried to stick with the show when Matt Smith took over but quickly lost interest. Same thing when Jodie Whitaker started her run. Guess for me Dr Who is only a David Tennant vehicle.
