Sue Barker (OBE) has presented "A Question Of Sport" for the most series. She was born on 19 April 1956. She was a former tennis player who won 15 titles. Her highest ranking was World No. 3 (20 March 1977) in the Women's rankings. She reached the semi finals at Wimbledon (1977) and the Australian Open (1975, 1977). She won the French Open (1976). She is now one of the main sports presenters at the BBC, most notably fronting the corporation’s coverage of Wimbledon.

"A Question of Sport" is a British sports quiz show created by Nick Hunter for the BBC. The show centres on a light-hearted contest involving two teams of three sports stars, each with a regular resident team captain, competing for points by answering questions on their own and other sports over several sports-themed quiz rounds.

The show premiered on BBC One in January 1970. Stuart Hall hosted a pilot episode. David Vine hosted the show for the first 7 series. David Coleman replaced Vine and hosted the show for 19 series. Since 1997, and for 22 series, it has been presented by Sue Barker.

The show is currently in its 48th series. Series 42, episode 17 marked the 1,000th episode on 4 March 2013.

Sue Barker was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen's 2016 New Year Honours for services to broadcasting and charity.
