Freddie Mercury's birth name was Farrokh Bulsara. A famous singer and author was born in Zanzibar, Tanzania on the 5th of September, 1946. Being a child, Freddie had a predilection for music and studied piano at school in India. Then he visited London's Ealing College of Art and met a great number of talented musicians, who had impact on him and made a large contribution is his music skills development. Freddie became a true music icon and remained one of the greatest musicians of all times. The music of the Queen was on top of the American and British charts for quite a long time
