Who is the painter of "The Beethoven Frieze"?

The Beethoven Frieze is a painting by Gustav Klimt on display in the Secession Building, Vienna, Austria.

In 1901, Klimt painted the Beethoven Frieze for the 14th Vienna Secessionist exhibition in celebration of the composer, and featured a monumental polychrome sculpture by Max Klinger. Meant for the exhibition only, the frieze was painted directly on the walls with light materials. After the exhibition the painting was preserved, although it did not go on display again until 1986.

The Beethoven Frieze is on permanent display in the Vienna Secession Building in a specially built, climate-controlled basement room.

I have seen this painting in Vienna, in Secession Art Museum, but I remember that it had a different name, not Beethoven frieze. It is displayed on four walls in a room of about 100 sqm. and it's an alegoria of the mankind seeking for happiness through ages (or, at least, this inspired me). Gustav Klimt style is truely unmistakable.

18% Rembrandt Yeah, that would work if he had a time machine. Rembrandt was long dead before Beethoven was born. Anyway, once you have seen any of Klimt's work, you can identify his style immediately. I can think of any other artist who comes close to his style.
