Who is this?

Karl Heinrich Marx was born in the year 1818 in Trier, in the Kingdom of Prussia's Province of the Lower Rhine. We're used to seeing portraits and photos of Marx with a heavy beard. But he started writing seriously around the time he transferred from the University of Bonn to the University of Berlin in the late 1830s. So here is a picture of him in those days: you will find it widely used by scholars today in connection with articles on Marx's early writings.

I could not believe, just looked it up and found a picture, so upset lost 75 points toward getting to 100. I never would have imagined Karl Marx. Good for the person with the question, bad for me. I was watching my Warriors losing at the same time. Think I will go to sleep!

Christ, people are even saying THIS is a "trick question". How on Earth can identifying a portrait be a "trick question"? Guess what - people look different when they're young! It's unbelievable what sore losers some of you are. Grow up!
