Who is this?

Ronald Charles Colman was born on the 9th of February, 1891. He became a prominent English actor, eapecially popular during the 1930s and 1940s. Colman's performance in A Double Life, his best known 1947 movie, earned him an Oscar for Best Actor. The actor received numerous nominations for his brilliant work in such motion pictures Condemned (1929), Bulldog Drummond (same year), and Random Harvest (1942). Colman also starred in several classic films, including A Tale of Two Cities (1935), Lost Horizon (1937) and The Prisoner of Zenda (1937). Colman was usually referred to as the "Gentleman of the Cinema". He died in 1958 in Santa Barbara.

I watch Random Harvest at least once a year to see Colman with the great, beautiful Greer Garson. Then, I watch Cocoon for laughs. Such a natural actor

tbear, I just checked the plot. I had not heard of this actor or any of the movies but "A Tale of Two Cities". What a story line! It sounds like a contrast of "While You Were Sleeping".Have a great day! Christine, James' wife

Sarah Hearn-vonFoerster, that wasn't Claude in Cocoon. It was Don Ameche. Appearance is similar, but Cocoon was filmed in 1985. Long after Claude was gone.

My most favorite actor! He's right up there with Cary Grant, as far as I'm concerned! Random Harvest is my favorite movie! Watch every time it's on TCM! Also have it on dvd to get my fix if I'm in the mood! 😊😊
