Vincent Leonard Price, Jr. (May 27, 1911 – October 25, 1993) is a famous American actor, well-known for his unrepeatable voice and outstanding acting in horror films. He also starred in dramas, mysteries, comedies and thrillers. Vincent Leonard Price appeared in more then 100 movies and also acted on stage, worked on TV and radio. He also has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame: one for movies and one for TV.
Price was an art collector and consultant, with a degree in art history. He lectured and wrote books on the subject. He was the founder of the Vincent Price Art Museum in California.

He was extremely famous when he was alive.
And his contribution to more recent movies like Johnny Depp's Edward Scissorhands brought him fame to the younger generations.
That and the narrative on Michael Jackson's Thriller has already gone down in history, as that album has sold mire than 30 million copies.
I'd call that famous.

I didn't know of his expertise in art. I wonder if he painted, himself, and, if he did, what medium was his favorite.
I have heard of several actors who painted, like Jim Carrey. I would love to see samples of some of their work
