Dwight Schultz (born 1947) is an American television, film and voice actor. He is known for his roles as Captain "Howling Mad" Murdock on the 1980s action series “The A-Team” and as Reginald Barclay in “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” “Star Trek: Voyager,” and the film “Star Trek: First Contact.” He is also known in animation as the mad scientist Dr. Animo in the “Ben 10” series, Adrian Toomes/Vulture in some Marvel video games, Chef Mung Daal in the children's animated series “Chowder,” and Eddie the Squirrel in “CatDog.”

His character in "The A-team," Captain Howling Mad Murdock, acts as the mercenary unit's pilot. In early episodes, his teammates, Hannibal Smith, Templeton Peck, and B.A. Baracus must extricate him from the mental institution in which he resides.

His role in "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Star Trek: Voyager" is as a shy, nervous, socially awkward member of Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge's engineering staff. In spite of these traits, Lt. Barkley's brilliance is crucial in several episodes in which his character is featured.

Schultz also starred as atomic scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer in the 1989 film "Fat Man and Little Boy."
