Who played Lauren Gabriel in the Hallmark movie, 'Christmas Town'?

It wouldn’t be “Countdown to Christmas” without Candace Cameron Bure. Bare starred in 'Christmas Town' as part of the 2019 Hallmark holiday lineup. The movie is based on the 2016 bestselling book by Donna VanLiere.

The main character is Lauren Gabriel who leaves everything behind in Boston to embark on a new chapter in her life and career. She takes an unforeseen detour to the charming town of Grandon Falls. Lauren discovers an unexpected new chapter of the heart and of family helping her to embrace, once again, the magic of Christmas.

Tim Rozon stars as the film’s leading man, Travis Mabrey. He is a local of the town who helps Lauren by giving her a ride from the train station to the town of Grandon Falls. Beth Broderick (Sabrina, the Teenage Witch) also appears, playing Betty, a waitress at the local dinner who helps Lauren in the new town.

Talk about random! Surprisingly the rest of the world has little knowledge nor interest in Hallmark movies. It is not as if they’re mainstream entertainment!

The Lovely and Gracious Mrs. Shreve watches the Hallmark Channel, especially at Christmas. Bure is an accomplished actress, however.
