"Planet of the Vampires" (Italian: "Terrore nello Spazio" - "Terror in Space" -) is a 1965 Italian-Spanish science fiction horror film, produced by Fulvio Lucisano, directed by Mario Bava, that stars Barry Sullivan as Captain Mark Markary and Norma Bengell as Sanya. It was based on an Italian-language science fiction short story, Renato Pestriniero's "One Night of 21 Hours".

A mysterious signal leads two rovers to the mist-shrouded planet Aura. While attempting to land, one ship crashes with the loss of the entire crew, while the other's begins to attack each other under some strange alien influence. When the surviving crew goes to collect the bodies of the dead, they are found mysteriously missing without a trace.

Patrick Barry Sullivan (New York, USA, August 29, 1912 – Los Angeles, California, USA, June 6, 1994) was an American movie actor who appeared in over 100 movies from the 1930s to the 1980s.
