Charlotte York Goldenblatt is a fictional character in the American, HBO-produced (Home Box Office TV Network), romantic comedy television series 'Sex and the City'. It is an adaptation of Candace Bushnell's 1997 book of the same name. The series sets the scene around a New York writer, Carrie Bradshaw, who finds inspiration for her column from the genuine, emotional, and often humorous exploits of her three dear friends and their lovers.

Charlotte is portrayed by actress Kristin Davis, (24 February, 1965, Boulder, Colorado) who remained an integral cast member until the series ended in 2004. 'Sex and the City' spawned two feature films, 'Sex and the City' (2008) and 'Sex and the City 2' (2010), and a prequel television series commissioned by 'The CW' (The Crimson White TV Network): 'The Carrie Diaries' (2013–14).

On January 11, 2021, a sequel series titled 'And Just Like That...' was announced.
