Who sang the theme song in the 1977 Bond movie "The Spy Who Loves Me"?
"Nobody Does It Better" is a song composed by Marvin Hamlisch with lyrics by Carole Bayer Sager. It was recorded by Carly Simon as the theme song for the 1977 James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me.
This song has quite an interesting story. Sager first offered the title of the song as a new title for the movie, but the producers never went for it. Anyway, they were amazed by the song with the same title composed by Marvin Harmlisch . They only wanted to hear the title The Spy Who Loved Me in it, and Sager just poked it in the middle of the verse, and it worked well. Carole considered her work a true love confession to James Bond.

Although, American singer Carly Simon, sung the theme song to the James Bond film "The Spy Who Loved Me." It is Welsh singer Shirley Bassey, who has sung the most theme songs in the James Bond franchise. The James Bond film "Goldfinger" in 1964. The James Bond film "Diamonds Are Forever" in 1971. The James Bond film "Moonraker" in 1979. My personal favorite is the James Bond film theme song "For Your Eyes Only" sung by Scottish singer Sheena Easton, who not only sang the theme song, but is the only singer to have appeared in the opening credits of a James Bond film.
