Who was the Filipino resistance leader during the Spanish-American War?
Emilio Famy Aguinaldo is officially recognized as the First President of the Philippines (1899–1901) and led Philippine forces first against Spain in the latter part of the Philippine Revolution (1896–1897), and then in the Spanish–American War (1898), and finally against the United States during the Philippine–American War (1899–1901). He was captured by American forces in 1901, which brought an end to his presidency.

timdrumm, General Fred Funston won the Congressional Medal of Honor in that war. Fort Funston, near San Francisco, is named for him./

Gary Kirkman, We used the .45 on the pistol team at Ft. Eustis and didn't have to put pictures of Aguinaldo, Marcos, or any of them on the targets to shoot well./

Yes. Also, the .45 cal pistol, M1911 replaced the .38 cal pistol in the US military. (Filipinos say it was designed to kill Filipinos.)
