Who was the shortest man in recorded history?

The record was set by Chandra Bahadur Dangi from Nepal. In 2012 Guinness World Records took a trip to the Kathmandu, the capital of the country, to investigate this amazing case. This 72-year-old man was supposedly standing 2 inches shorter than the current shortest living man, Junrey Balawing. Of course, the information was to be collected and fixed by the approved agents.

Following a series of measurements at the CIWEC Travel Clinic Medicine Center in the Lainchaur district, Chandra Bahadur Dangi from Reemkholi, did indeed prove to be shorter, averaging 21.5 in. By the way, Chandra didn't initiate the investigation himself. He was mentioned by other people in the village, who later reported his outstanding appearance.

I thinkk that is legitimate. If you measure yourself in the morning and then again at night, you may notice a difference of around 1/2 inch (on average). Your vertabrae settle as the day goes on and you do get shorter. Or, they may have measured him over a period of years and averaged out his height which again, changes over time. We do get shorter as we age.
