Crusade in Europe is a book of wartime memoirs by General Dwight D. Eisenhower published by Doubleday in 1948. It is a personal account by one of the senior military figures of World War II. It recounts his appointment by General George Marshall to plan the defense of the Philippines and continues to describe his appointment, and execution of the role of Supreme Allied Commander in Northern Europe.

I have a special respect for Dwight "Ike" Eisenhower, as he was President when I was born! He was also a great leader who is often overlooked because of what happened to the President who followed him!
