The Hundred Acre Wood aka simply "The Wood" is based on the real-life Five Hundred Acre Wood in Ashdown Forest which is located 48 km south of London in the county of East Sussex, England.
According to the famous series of children's stories, it is a part of the land inhabited by Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends.
Interestingly, Winnie is the second top-earning fictional character ever created while the first one is Mickey Mouse.

Soo love this story.. my grandchildren and I spent hours looking though the many Pecan trees on our property for Poo's Honey Stash.....lol.
