There are 538 electors in the college. It takes 270 to win the election. The number of electors is determined by the number of representatives and senators totally with D.C. getting as many as the least populated state. Where did the author get 135 number? This is by constitutional mandate.This one should never have been approved, since it is invalid.

We have 538 electoral college votes and the winning President needs to have 270 of them to be elected. We have more than 135 electoral votes for question 14.
