nice to have the answers, but this quiz evidently came out of the UK (e.g. "aluminium"), and maths there uses different terminology. Question 14 used a symbol not used much in the US.

The Samuel Pepys question is faulty. Pepys died in 1705. The diaries were published in 1660, which is the 17th century, NOT the 19th! None of the options are correct.
