Mike Strange, the sea floor isn’t land. There is no land above sea level for many hundreds of miles from the North Pole.

William Laughlin, This was a screwy quiz. On top of it, I lived at the North Pole, North Pole Alaska that is. I kept inadvertently answering with the city in mind! Reindeer/Caribou roam way above the arctic circle. More trees than I ever have seen at the circle..beyond that, lots of tundra. Agree with your quiz club...not one of your better ones.

Wayne Roberts, Actually there are 4 north poles. There is a town called North Pole, Alaska. This would be a municipal north pole.
