Mixes are not breeds; they are mixed breeds.

8/10 I absolutely adore dog's! The white dog did not look like a border collie. I picked the other breed said I was wrong, I don't think I'm 🇨🇦

Sometimes I like to look things up when I'm not sure if they have the correct answer. As a result I looked up white border collies and discovered that they are real and are the rarest colour of border collies followed by lilac and then blue etc etc etc. Interesting.

6/10 - we are getting a new puppy next week - Shih-Tzu, Bichon Frise and Yorkie cross. We lost our Doxie 3 months ago.

Mixed breeds are not purebred dogs, so calling a Labradoodle, Cavapoo, Maltipoo, etc. "breeds" is incorrect. They are just like any other mixed breeds--mutts. That said, mixed breeds seem to be healthy and very loving dogs. I have had plenty of mixes.
