wordster, It is NOT "officially bilingual" at all. French is the only language officially accepted for legal purposes. Many Quebcois speak English (generally far more Francophones speak English than Anglophones speak French), but officially only French is used for leagal purposes. New Brunswick, which borders Quebec, is the ONLY Canadian Province to be officially bilingual.
