The answer to no.1 is 1. BEDMAS
Brackets, Exponents, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction
4÷2(1÷2)
(1÷2)=0.5
4÷2=2
2×0.5=1

The math is correct. The answer is 1.
Don't forget, for whichever acronym you use (BODMAS or PEMDAS), the answer will be the same.
Where most people go wrong is with Multiplication and Division. These two operations carry equal weight in solving an equation and are done in the order they appear in the equation from left to right.
Division isn't always done first, ahead of Multiplication and vice versa. Their position in the equation determines what is done and in which order.
