Jenny Herringer,
We all do the same way of you do it properly. Math is a universal language.
Whatever you call it, BODMAS or PEMDAS, it is the same.
• First, we do what's inside the Brackets/Parentheses.
• That is followed by Order/Exponents.
• The next step is Multiplication or Division which are done in the order those functions appear in the equation from left to right.
One is not necessarily done before the other. That is determined by where they appear in the equation.
• Next comes Addition and Subtraction, which are also done from left to right in the order they appear in the equation.
There cannot be different ways of solving equations or mathematicians and scientists could never communicate worldwide.
All the math problems were solved correctly.
