100 Kelvin is the temperature of absolute zero
The definition of "absolute zero" is the lowest possible temperature of anything. The Kelvin temperature was designed to simply be an offset of Celsius (so a change of 1°C is equal to a change of 1K) with 0K being absolute zero.
