A giraffe can clean its ears with its tongue

It is commonly known that the giraffe is the tallest animal in the world, sometimes reaching a height in excess of 18 feet. Along with it’s length neck, the giraffe has a very long tongue — more than a foot and a half long. A giraffe can clean its ears with its 21-inch tongue! That is ample enough length to clean its ears out.

Christine Gardner, Generally that's true, but I have answered true on a couple of occasions and it turned out to be false.

I don't know about giraffes but a girl friend of mine could remove a coin from the tip of her nose, with her tongue! There's a game in which you have lo lie down on your back, and then try to dislodge a coin placed on the tip of your nose. It can't be done by wiggling like the Bewitched! witch, but this girl reached with her tongue and flipped the coin away. You must try it!
