"All are welcome. All welcome. Go into the light...." was said in the 1982 film "Poltergeist". The are words were said by Tangina Barrons. She is a character portrayed by Zelda Rubinstein. Barrons is a clairvoyant and a psychic who sees ghosts. She only appears in the "Poltergeist" series.

Barrons is the first one aware of what is going on at the Freeing´s house. However, despite her efforts, she cannot prevent the disintegration of that place. Things start happening with the Freelings' daughter, Carol Anne. She talks to the TV. At first, it is transmitting static, during a sign-off. The next night when Carol Anne looks at the TV screen, suddenly an evil being is coming out of the screen. It causes a violent earthquake. Carol announces that they're here. Bizarre events then start to occur.

"Poltergeist" is a clever horror film about a Southern California family whose home is haunted by a host of ghosts. It was directed by Tobe Hooper and written by Steven Spielberg, Michael Grais, and Mark Victor. The film was produced by Spielberg alongside Frank Marshall. It stars JoBeth Williams, Craig T. Nelson, Heather O'Rourke, and Beatrice Straight.

Released by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the film obtained great critical and commercial success. It was the eighth-highest-grossing film of 1982. The film received 3 Oscar nominations: Best Original Score, Best Sound Effects Editing, and Best Visual Effects. They all lost to Spielberg's film "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial".
