At the end of the sci-fi film "Alien," only Ripley and her cat survive. What is the name of her cat?

In Alien and Aliens, Ripley has a cat named Jones. In Aliens when Ripley is properly preparing to go to LV426 with the marines, she says to Jones, "And you, you little s**t-head ... you're staying here." Subsequently as event play out, Jones goes on to live with Ripley at her new apartment.

Ultimately noting some facts about their existence, Ripley and Jones remained in cryostasis for 57 years. The salvage crew that picked them up initially believed that the unusual readings from the cryotube were about an alien life form. But visual inspection revealed to them that they were simply reading the human and feline sets of DNA as one organism. After their recovery, Ripley and Jones are reunited in the hospital of Gateway Station by Carter Burke. Jones then goes to stay with Ripley at her new apartment. It is unclear what becomes of Jones after Ripley gets an assignment to the USS Sulaco.
