Most people know that the winning American football Super Bowl team gets championship rings made. But the players aren't the only ones who get rings. The coaches get them too, of course, as do the team owners and, in many cases, the executives. The cheerleaders don't typically get rings, though the rules vary by team (and some teams don't even have cheerleaders).

There are plenty of folks involved in training and supporting the team that may end up ringless. But there's one group of people that always get rings: the referees. It's long been standard practice for the officiating team of the big game to receive Super Bowl rings for their efforts — no matter how many fans yell at them from their couches at home.
