Roberto "Bobby" Farrell was a member of Boney M, along with Liz Mitchell, Marcia Barrett and Maizie Williams. The group was formed in 1976 by German record producer Frank Farian and had a string of hits in the late 70s and early 80s. Farrell performed with the group until 1981 and again between 1984 and 86.

He died, aged 61, in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2010.
