Reindeer are widely domesticated in scandavian countries and the reindeer farmers feed them fruit of all kinds especially in winter.

Reindeer, in their natural Northwest Territories environment, would never find a banana or an apple..unless they were captured and stuck in a zoo. The question itself was poorly formed!

Banana are tropical fruit and Reindeer are temperate and polar animal so you have to import the bananas

I don't usually criticise questions but given that only a domesticated reindeer would be introduced to bananas, I find this particular question quite ridiculous!

teresab, You should go on a reindeer walk. We have a herd in the Cairngorms in Scotland. They are lovely animals. Swedish reindeer are friskier than other sub-species. No idea why...

Rub the inside of the reindeer's discarded banana peel on your hands; it's a very effective moisturiser. If you have no reindeer to hand, you could eat the banana yourself.

Cathleen Stevenson, the use of the letter "s" is not to denote plurality but in this case it's the possessive "s" telling us it is the banana 🍌 which belongs to the reindeer.

What an abstract question! Considering that bananas never grow in the reindeer's environment- bananas could only be considered as a treat for them. Much like a kid would like icecream.

I very much doubt it.! Deer live in the mountains in cool temperatures babanas are totally tropical, apples? Yes.

But I've yet to meet one that does. In fact I've yet to meet even one reindeer.

years ago I boarded a horse at a stable. On Saturdays I would bring my lunch with me. Standing in front of the stall eating a banana, my horse reached over and grabbed it,(peel and all) After that I would bring him his own banana for a treat, though I peeled it first.

It's food - hence the'll eat it, of course
