The Toyota Premier Cup was a single-game cup competition organized by the Toyota and Football Association of Thailand and was first played in 2011. It featured the winners of the Thai League Cup that year and an invited team from the J1 League, which is the top tier of football in Japan.

The competition sponsor was Toyota Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

In 2018 Toyota, sponsor for this tournament decided to abolished the tournament.

There were a total of seven (7) matches played during those years, with the Thai teams winning five (5) of them, and the Japanese teams only winning two (2).

The final match which was played in 2017 was won 3-1 by the Japanese side, Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
