The three rows of letter keys on a standard computer or typewriter keyboard are laid out as follows:

QWERTYUIOP

ASDFGHJKL

ZXCVBNM

As is clear from the picture, the first row is preceded by the Tab key, the second row by Caps Lock and the third row by Shift

So, pressing the Caps Lock key first, you can type out the word “ALASKA” using the second row of keys only. There is no other US state for which you can do this.
