How long does an airplane oxygen mask last?
Your oxygen will last only about 15 minutes. Passenger oxygen masks typically provide enough air to last 12 to 20 minutes. However, this is usually plenty of time for the pilot to get the plane to a safe altitude where masks aren't needed anymore.
What are your thoughts on this subject?

Don't have to land just fly at a lower
altitude, where there is more oxygen.

Poorly worded question. The oxygen in the tank might be depleted about 15 minutes after the system is activated and left running, but the mask itself presumably will remain in working order for years whether it's used or not.

Way too vague. The mask itself lasts for years while some non-pressurized aircraft have oxygen systems that provide supplimental oxygen for hours.
