fcowell, I think that was for the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Television sales boomed. I vaguely remember people crammed into my Aunts house to watch it. I was only 3 at the time, but for years I was the subject of many a Joke about hiding behind a sofa, scared of the TV. Funny, because I ended up working for the Queen.
